Biography:
 

While in her senior year at CMU, Laura was hired part-time by WOOD-TV as a broadcast meteorologist for the Weekend Daybreak, following a summer-long internship at the station. Following graduation, she became a full-time member of Storm Team 8, with her primary responsibility being the Weekend Daybreak show, airing from 6 to 8 a.m. She also fills in for both the Noon Show and Weekend Daybreak, along with providing weather updates during the Today Show, radio forecasts to many AM/FM stations, and written forecasts for the WOOD-TV web site and five local newspapers. Educational, charitable, and community activities are another major facet of the job. Working with a highly skilled and experienced team of meteorologists has been a beneficial aspect of Laura's career.
