As of Fall 2008, the meteorology program is now housed within the Department of Geology. The department anticipates advancing collaboration between meteorology and geology faculty in the areas of teaching and research. The merger facilitates the development of an Earth systems approach to evaluating future climate change. As of January 2009, the meteorology teaching and research labs are located within the Engineering and Technology Building, which features modern facilities. |
