Dr. Jodi Ryder and Dr. Anthony Feig! |
Dr. Jodi Ryder |
Dr. Jodi Ryder joins the department as our new Hydrogeologist. Dr. Ryder earned an undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and graduate degrees (M.S.E. and Ph.D.) in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering from the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on migration and entrapment of DNAPLs in heterogeneous systems, groundwater remediation, and fate and transport of agricultural chemicals in groundwater. Dr. Ryder is currently teaching at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. |

| Dr. Anthony Feig joins the department as a professor of science education and geology. Dr. Feig earned undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Earth & Planetary Sciences from the University of New Mexico, and a Masters in Geoscience from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas. He received an Ed.D. from the University of Texas - El Paso in Science Education Policy and Reform. Dr. Feig comes to us from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he was on the Geosciences faculty. His research interests include electronic learning, ecoliteracy, sustainability studies in K-16 settings, and the teaching and learning of evolution. |
